On Wed, October 22, French Kiss held a special live at Zepp Tokyo in front 1,000 fans. Over 20,000 applications were submitted to attend the special live. The application came with the 「Omoidasenai Hana」 single. Yukirin has been sick the past week. She was forced to withdraw from the October 18 & 19 handshake events at Nagoya Dome. Yukirin mentioned on Monday that her fever was gone but her throat was still not well. It was highly unlikely that Yukirin would have recovered 100% for the concert.  Some Yukirin fans mentioned that during the MC, it was noticeable that Yukirin’s throat was still not well and that during the performances, Yukirin was not able to hit and hold the notes as well. French Kiss performed 18 songs total including encore. They only performed French Kiss songs. During the post live interview with the press, they joked about the rumour that they don’t get along. 8/18 Yukirin at AKB48 Tokyo Dome Concert News Roundup

On August 18th, AKB48 held a concert at Tokyo Dome without any sister groups. It was just an AKB48 only show. But even that, the concert featured 130+ members (including Team 8). The concert also featured songs that have rarely been performed, let alone on a large stage like Tokyo Dome. It was a school themed concert and it started with the members coming out on bicycles. The top members also got to do Unit songs. Yukirin did a duet, 「Aozora no Soba ni ite」, with Mayu. Just before Team B Oshi, Mayu & Yukirin came out, then Mayu got down on her knee in front of Yukirin and started to say some Romeo & Juliet lines like it was a theatre play. Yukirin: “This is not a theatre play. Let’s begin!” Together: “Team B Oshi” Mayu: “Oh wait, I forgot something at school. I have to go get it.” Yukirin: “But it’s already so late.” The two then head to “school” with some scary background music and went to the locker area. Team B oshi then start with the girls appearing from inside the lockers. For the Team B Oshi song, all the girls were in cosplay, Yukirin was Cinderella! It seems there were many MaYuki moments throughout the concert. The pictures uploaded by the AKB staff certainly say so. During Heavy Rotation, Yukirin took Acchan’s position and did the pairing part with Mayu. It was announced during the concert that the 47 prefecture tour will finish this year (finally). Team B will be going to Kagoshima on November 22. It will be the first time that Yukirin actually returns to Kagoshima to perform with AKB48. Yukirin has appeared as special guest during the last tour when Oba Team 4 visited Kagoshima. The touching moment was when Annin appeared and said she really wanted to perform with AKB at Tokyo Dome. They chose a fitting song with 「Arigatou」 (Thank you). Yukirin at Upcoming AKB48G Summer Festival

AKB48 Group will be having a Summer Festival at Makuhari Messe from 8/8 to 8/10. This event replaces the cancelled 6/14 Labrador Retriever national handshake event. The festival will feature all members of 48 group. This festival is designed so everyone can have fun, including the members. AKB48 Group will take over the entire main building. There will be 3 stages, A Stage, B Stage & C Stage, food area, etc., like any festivals.   On 8/8, Yukirin will be having a solo live at A Stage from 11:30 to 12:15.’A’ stage has a capacity of 10,000 people. She will then take part in handshaking from 18:30 to 20:30 that evening. Other events will take place throughout the day in the other stages such as Team 8 will be performing on B Stage, cosplay event on C stage, etc. It was also announced today that the Janken Tournament will take place on 9/17. Unlike previous years, the winner will get to Solo Debut, if the winner has already debuted, then that winner gets a solo concert. The preliminary tournament for the sister groups will take place on B stage throughout the day on 8/8. Niconico will be streaming the preliminary Janken tournament.   On 8/10, the Baitoru special live will take at the Festival. It will probably feature members from each group. 6/8 Yukirin at Oshima Yuko Graduation Live (Updated)

On June 8th, Yuko’s graduation concert took place at Ajinomoto Stadium. The rain mostly held up for the concert, it poured a bit during the middle part. This concert is really part 2 of the concert series that was supposed to be held at National Olympic Stadium in March. The newly crown senbatsu members from the 37th single senbatsu election also performed “Shoujotachi Yo” together with live singing. The concert was all about Yuko and much like her personality, the graduation concert was mostly fun and energetic and not much a sobbing party (until the end). Yuko even had a handshake event with all 263 members on stage, the whole handshake took 22 minutes. For every member, Yuko said something personal to each and everyone of them. I wonder what she said to Yukirin. hehe As for unit song, Yukirin performed in 1994 Nen no Raimei with Yuko, Mayu, Paruru and M.Rena. Yukirin also performed with NMB48, new song Ibiza Girls and Nagiichi.   Following the concert, 3rd generation members: Yukirin, Mayu, Lovetan, Harugon, Haachan, Nakayan and Tanamin went out to eat.   Update: According to the Page interview following the concert, Yukirin said Yuko said to her “Yukirin, truly thank you”. The Top 100 AKB48 2014 Request Hour songs were revealed on April 6th at Saitama Super Arena. Yukirin participated in 14 songs plus 3 encore songs and also two MCs, the notable is the MC between her, Sasshi and Miichan. The trio also know as Saamon (Salmon) have had an MC together in the last few Request Hours. I think the surprise for me was Yukirin being picked to do the KojiYuu song. I really wasn’t expecting that one but I’m looking forward to it. I like KojiYuki too! hehe! It was also nice to see the AKB graduates show up! 4/5 Yukirin at NMB48 Concert News Roundup

Yukirin made her official debut as a NMB48 Team N member on April 5th at the NMB48 concert at Saitama Super Arena. Yukirin also took part in the Yoshimoto Theatre skit which fully initiates her as a NMB48 member! Yukirin was quoted, “It was a very interesting presence!”  Yukirin introduced herself as, “I’m now the oldest in the new Team N, please don’t call me aunty!!” There was also an MC where all new kennin and transferred members had to say something in Kansai-ben. When Yukirin was first announced as a concurrent member of NMB48 Team N, many fans wanted Yukirin to do the unit song, “Zipper”. Many fans’ dreams came true when she performed “Zipper” with Kei and Akarin. The media also made a big deal about Yukirin’s debut as a NMB48 as all the typical news outlets had articles out soon after her appearance. Lots of photos too! Many NMB48 members who respect and look up to Yukirin took the opportunity to take 2-shots with Yukirin. Keira who mentioned a few weeks ago that she will call Yukirin, “mama”, also posted a 2-shot with her and said “I love mama”. Also, I’m a big Shibuya Nagisa fan, and the member she looks up to most is Yukirin. She has talked about Yukirin a few times before on her blog. 3/29 AKB48 Concert at Kokuritsu Yukirin News Roundup

On March 29th, AKB48 held their own concert at National Olympic Stadium (Kokuritsu). I woke up at 3am (EST) to keep track of this concert. I am an AKB48 fan afterall. The excitement of an AKB48 only concert at Kokuristu prevented me from getting any sleep prior to the start. I wanted to catch a few hours of sleep but that didn’t really happen. The setlist was amazing. It was a very Team heavy setlist and very few MCs. With the new Teams set to take effect soon, it was nice of them to do it this way. An AKB48 only concert meant they could perform songs that rarely gets done at concerts. It was refreshing see performances of these songs!! The concert featured acrobats and lots of fireworks too.  Yukirin had her hair up as a ponytail, she always look great in that so I’m glad she decided to set her hair that way.  During both opening of the concert and UZA, Yukirin was wired up, hanging and flying in the air.  Yukirin plus Yuko, Takamina, Mayu & Paruru were in the air during Juuryoku Sympathy.  On Yukirin’s blog, she mentioned that she flipped around 4 times while in the air.  During UZA, Yukirin was hanging within a cube along with Yui, Yuko, Takamina and Mayu in the air.
