8/21 Yukirin at NGT48 Unveil Day News Roundup

On August 21, 2015, the 1st Generation of NGT48 was unveiled at the Niigata Minato Pier.  Because the weather forecast for the late afternoon was not good, they pushed up the unveiling by 15 minutes to 4:15pm instead of 4:30pm. The rain had been heavy at times throughout the day already. Some fans were already at the Pier waiting in front of the stage at 7am!

NGT48 made their grand entrance via a water-taxi as the NGT48 overture started.

NGT48’s first goods include a scarf and an uchiwa. For the most part, Yukirin & Kitarie stayed on the side, like two big sisters looking over their younger sisters. As Kitarie has said many times before, NGT48 is aiming to be more a lady like group and not the cutesy groups as there is already HKT48. The NGT girls wore a white dress with laces and red waistband.

Looking forward to see where NGT48 can go from here!

   Thanks for putting this together!!

   Obviously still early but NGT looking pretty good to me. Really felt as though the pictures that showed the whole group with Rie at one end and Yuki at the other really symbolized their roles in NGT nicely….

   Really like their outfits too, felt to me as though they were pretty heavily influenced by the Yukirin idol style if you know what I mean, but I guess if you are going for a ladylike image, that will happen…..
