The Great Tohoku Japan Earthquake

3.11
4 years since The Great Tohoku Japan Earthquake

Today, on this date.
I along with 7 other members
went to the Town of Minami Sanriku in the Miyagi prefecture.

While there were a bit of flurries.
from little kids to the elderly,
many people came.

Approximately 1.5 hours of live.

I thought of various things
I felt various things.

I saw many smiling faces from the stage,
it made me really happy.

During the songs,
singing with everyone,
dancing with everyone.

「Tenohira ga Kataru Koto」
a song written for the reconstruction efforts.

I witnessed a girl while listening to this song trying to hold back the tears.

Remembering the things from that day.
Always felt the many heartaches since that day.

「While reconstruction is slowly moving forward,
the mental care of the children is a must.
Truly grateful to see the smiles and happiness from the kids while watching the stage today.」

We said to the locals.

That is what we can do.
From now on, I hope to make as many people as possible to show a smile.

In words, it sound simple.
But in action, it’s very hard.

However, nothing can start if you don’t do anything.

Moving forward little by little.
Moving into the future little by little.

If we stand closely with everyone, we can move forward.

Once again,
my condolences for those affected by the Great Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami,
I hope the reconstruction can be done quickly.

While we are still inexperienced,
but I hope we can continue with the support activities.

To the Town of Minami Sanriku.
Thank you very much for the warm welcome.

I hope to be able to meet everyone once again.

Bearing any massive laziness, I will translate Yukirin’s blog from now on. Lately, haven’t seen too many of her’s around.

I’m not totally satisfy with this blog translation but have sat on it for a few days now so posted it. I did westernize some of the stuff.
