AKB48 39th Single Centers are Yukirin & Kojiharu

Announced at the last concert of Request Hour 2015, the senbatsu and song for the AKB48 39th Single was revealed. The song is titled Green Flash. The single will be released on March 4th.  The centers are Yukirin & Kojiharu. After 9 years being in AKB, Yukirin is finally center!!!! Takamina and Sayanee raps for the song as well.

 

Yukirin is center! She finally gets to be center!

 

The 16 senbatsu members for the single are:
Centers: Kojima Haruna & Kashiwagi Yuki
Members: Takahashi Minami, Sashihara Rino, Yokoyama Yui, Shimazaki Haruka, Iriyama Anna, Kawaei Rina, Kojima Mako, Watanabe Mayu, Kizaki Yuria, Ikoma Rina, Matsui Jurina, Matsui Rena, Yamamoto Sayaka, Miyawaki Sakura

 

Yukirin said she thought it was a prank when management told her but then AkiP asked her, “What did you think of the new song centered by Kojima & Kashiwagi?” Then it really hit her that it’s true. Kojiharu said that AkiP approached her at the end of the AKB48 tour about it and it really heightened her interest.    Still can’t quite believe that they made her a center!!!

   Seems such a surreal moment that after, well, kinda dodging it for so long that they finally give her a chance (back with a 16 Senbatsu to which is kinda nice as well)

   2015 starting pretty well for Yukirin 🙂
