As guessed previously, Yukirin’s unit in Team Surprise is with Kojiharu and Yui. Song #5 in the Team Surprise stage is ｢愛しさを丸めて Itoshisa wo Marumete｣ Yukirin is the drummer! (yet again! haha) This is actually a Yukirin center unit. 9/17 AKB48 Janken Taikai Yukirin News Roundup

The 5th AKB48 Janken Taikai took place on Sept 17 at Nippon Budokan.  AKB,SKE, NMB and HKT members took part.  The winner this time gets a solo debut, while remaining senbatsu members will get a coupling song on the single.  Besides who will be the winner of the tournament, another main focus is what will the members be wearing. This year, she’s a hostess in Kurofuku Monogatari so this meant, she wore a rather revealing dress, very sexy!  Yukirin’s first round match was against Team B’s Hashimoto Hikari.  As a surprise, Sasaki Nozomi who is the heroine in the drama appeared as a guest! Two sexy ladies on stage!  Yukirin beat Hikari in Round 1 to face off Team 8’s Honda Hitomi in Round 2. After winning Round, she faced Sayanee in Round 3 for the opportunity to be in senbatsu. Right after beating Sayanee, Yukirin apologized to Sayanee. Yukirin actually made to Best 16!!!  Sadly, she was unable to move further as she lost to Team B’s Sayaya in Round 1 of Best 16. Miruki eventually won, beating Kojiharu. Following the win, a special announcement was made regarding AKB48’s 38th single. The senbatsu members were announced. The 38th single will be centered by Mayu and HKT48’s Sakura. It will feature 32 members including Yukirin. Because of the long list of members, Yukirin’s name was announced rather late. The 38th single will be released on November 26, 2014.     Following the tournament, Yukirin wrote on 755 and answered a few questions. Yukirin mentioned she thought her name wouldn’t be called for the 38th single. She was asked why she apologized to Sayanee. Yukirin said it’s cause she wanted Sayanee to solo debut. She felt like she robbed an important opportunity from the juniors. (You can definitely see from Yukirin’s reaction when she beat Sayanee that she almost didn’t want it to happen) Yukirin also mentioned about why she doesn’t declare her desires. Yukirin’s solo song on Type C of French Kiss 6th single “Omoidasenai Hana” was broadcasted on Yukirin Time. The lyrics are written by Yukirin and is titled 広い世界の中で出逢えたこと/Hiroi sekai no naka de deaeta koto (Was able to Meet You in this Big World) Of course, the song is a ballad!     9/16 Update Yukirin wrote this song with the idea of a love story formed by putting little events and memories together. Yukirin in Fall Drama “黒服物語 Kurofuku Monogatari” News

Yukirin will be in a TV Asahi Fall 2014 drama called “Kurofuku Monogatari” (Black Suit Story)) which is based on the manga by Kurashina Ryo and Narita Manabu. Yukirin plays problem character, Miki and is a hostess at the cabaret club called Juliet. Sexy Zone’s Nakajima Kento is the male lead in the drama as Ogawa Akira and is someone who has failed to pass the medical entrance exam a few times. The female lead is Sasaki Nozomi who plays hostess Kyoko and is the No.1 at Juliet. Akira sees Kyoko and falls in love with her and starts to work at the club as a waiter (black suit). Yukirin will be a love triangle with these two. The drama is scheduled to start in October, every Friday at 11:15pm. Since it’s a role that is kinda hard to experience, I am excited that I will get to experience a glimpse of what that world is like.
