Yukirin at Upcoming AKB48G Summer Festival

AKB48 Group will be having a Summer Festival at Makuhari Messe from 8/8 to 8/10. This event replaces the cancelled 6/14 Labrador Retriever national handshake event. The festival will feature all members of 48 group.

This festival is designed so everyone can have fun, including the members. AKB48 Group will take over the entire main building. There will be 3 stages, A Stage, B Stage & C Stage, food area, etc., like any festivals.

 

On 8/8, Yukirin will be having a solo live at A Stage from 11:30 to 12:15.’A’ stage has a capacity of 10,000 people. She will then take part in handshaking from 18:30 to 20:30 that evening. Other events will take place throughout the day in the other stages such as Team 8 will be performing on B Stage, cosplay event on C stage, etc.

It was also announced today that the Janken Tournament will take place on 9/17. Unlike previous years, the winner will get to Solo Debut, if the winner has already debuted, then that winner gets a solo concert. The preliminary tournament for the sister groups will take place on B stage throughout the day on 8/8. Niconico will be streaming the preliminary Janken tournament.

 

On 8/10, the Baitoru special live will take at the Festival. It will probably feature members from each group. Niconico will also be streaming it live.

At around 8/7 2:00 am, Yukirin tweeted that her rehearsal with the band for the solo live is done and also tweeted a picture. But she quickly deleted the tweet. She then followed up with tweet saying, “ah, that would have reduced the excitement towards the live. Just by miracle, if you have seen it, please keep it a secret. It’s my lifelong wish.” (LOL Yukirin so cute)

I’m excited that it will feature Live band!

   Good to see Yukirin get her own mini concert at this festival, sure it’s not a full concert but it will be good all the same.

   The setlist looks interesting too, some song’s I’m looking forward to see her doing solo on there no doubt. Yuki on G+ mentioned some things about the concert too (https://plus.google.com/102818938176896199915/posts/Q7C72tGXHRj)

   And solo for the Janken? Well I don’t think Yuki will win it (Would be thinking that Sayanee would be a massive favorite at this point- depending on what your thoughts on the Janken are) but either way it has got me thinking about wanting to see another solo concert or a single (been to long) for Yuki, hopefully after this and the the work with FK there might be some news….

   wow yukirin to be the opening of the event, i guess for rising the spirit you need an expert.

   im just happy im able to see yukiring special bedazzled mic again. lol
