4/6 AKB48 2014 Request Hr Top 100 Yukirin News Roundup
The Top 100 AKB48 2014 Request Hour songs were revealed on April 6th at Saitama Super Arena. Yukirin participated in 14 songs plus 3 encore songs and also two MCs, the notable is the MC between her, Sasshi and Miichan. The trio also know as Saamon (Salmon) have had an MC together in the last few Request Hours.
I think the surprise for me was Yukirin being picked to do the KojiYuu song. I really wasn’t expecting that one but I’m looking forward to it. I like KojiYuki too! hehe! It was also nice to see the AKB graduates show up!
The dates for the final stage for Umeda Team B and the start of Kuramochi Team B was also announced. The final stage for Umeda Team B will be on April 23. Kuramochi Team B will be doing B3rd Pajama Drive starting on April 28th.

Kojiharu showed us the new outfits for Scandalous with KojiYuki leather jackets! It’s amazing how they get new ones everytime!

Real pleasant surprise to see Yuki do Scandalous, looking forward to that!!!! And it’s nice to see Yokaze continue to do well 🙂 Also would not of thought of Sasshi for TemoDemo but again I like that pairing 🙂

I think Yukirin and Nyan nyan are an awesome duet! I think Yuko can “entrust” Nyan nyan to Yukirin, lol. Too bad she was transfered back to Team A.
A B3 revival… Somehow I am rather disappointed, B3 is my favourite stage and I am probably going to stay bias towards the first line-up that performed. This Kuramochi Team B, feels weird to me…I miss the real powerhouse the original B was!
I was also a bit disappointed too! I was hoping that they’ll do B4 but they gave that to Team 4.
Seems a bit more appropriate for this new Team. Actually I attended several presentations of B3, and I have to say no matter how many covers or shuffles they do, Temo Demo no Namida, still sounds the best when Yukirin sings it with Mikachii, whom I also liked a lot!
B3 is Team B’s best, I cannot imagine it otherwise, perhaps I am being sentimental and this new line-up can live-up to the expectations of such a stage. Perhaps, that is the case. But this team does not have that feeling the original performers had. They seem just meshing people up, and seeing how it goes. Maybe I am wrong, and if so, gladly, accept it will I.
Watching the DVD of Pajama Drive still gives me the chills of excitement, and LOD’s I have downloaded, reinforce that feeling of awesomeness I had…Sigh…
