1/26 Request Hour 2014 Day 4 Yukirin News Roundup

Day 4 of Request Hour 2014, the top 101-125 songs were revealed! Yukirin participated in 5 songs including her own unit song plus 4 encore songs. AKB48’s shihainin finally posted pictures throughout the concert so we get more pictures today!

Today’s big announcement was the Big Sokaku Matsuri to take place on February 24. Sokaku is a word meaning the formation of a cabinet (for a government).  AKB48 first used the word in 2009 for their Budokan concert which resulted in the first reformation of teams.  The VTR that was shown had staff members shuffling members pictures around. It’ll be a month of speculations amongst the fans. Reformations are a good way of not letting things stale or reset things that have not gone as planned. Having been an AKB fan for so long, I don’t mind reformations or shuffles so much because I think it keeps things fresh, it creates road curves that are necessary to keep things going. There really aren’t a lot of details about this, but it sure is enough to rattle the entire 48 fandom. I look forward to seeing what will happen.

   Yeah, have to say I think this shuffle is to sort out a few things that haven't quite gone to plan in the last few years (i.e. Team K) but yeah hard to say without knowing more at this point….
