Mielino Kashiwagi 「ミエリーノ 柏木」Ep 8 Synopsis

Ep 8! Yukirin finally get some action~ (not quite Gingham Check PV action, but action nonetheless!) This time, Kaoru is back, well sorta, it’s the same actress from Ep 4 but playing a different character. Kaoru has been going to a lot of group dates and ended up meeting Asari, an area manager of a kaiten sushi chain. So according to her, out of the 10 guys that you would meet on these group dates, half of them would be the ones that wants to sleep with you on the first date.  The other half would wait until the 3rd date. So Kaoru asks Konchan and Sano which type they are. Konchan said he’ll do it on first date and Sano said he would wait till the 3rd date. Yukirin’s reaction to this… (Yukirin had so many cute faces in this ep!!!) So why is Kaoru here? Well, seems she agreed to a date with Asari but doesn’t want to go because he’s really not her type though Kaoru thinks he’s a good guy. Also, she met someone else that has made her heart go “kyun”. So what does this mean?  Kaoru wants Kashiwagi-chan to go in her place first and she will show up later. Yukirin’s reaction to this request… (That’s the “are you kidding me?” look) After some convincing from Sano-san in the kitchen… They agreed to the deal. So on date night, Asari is the type that will arrive early. 15 minutes early for this date. Yukirin seems pretty happy about him arriving so early. Kashiwagi:“Guys who arrive 15 minutes early are good, no?” Kashiwagi:“Favourable rating, +1 point.” Kaoru mentioned that Asari is A-Blood type, very systematic, he will check out the menu and check out what is good first. Therefore, Kashiwagi should show up 10 minutes later to give him time. So how awkward is it to see the girl you’re expecting to meet didn’t show up and was replaced by someone else? Apparently, pretty awkward… (he should really be jumping for joy cause Yukirin is way better than Kaoru!) After some chatting and Asari telling us his story with Kaoru, it seems he knows Kaoru is not his type. Asari asks Kashiwagi, “I’m a baka no?” Yukirin laughs in reply… (Yukirin’s blackness is showing…) Finally, Asari asks Kashiwagi if she has boyfriend. Kashiwagi:“I have no comment.”     (what a great reply!) Asari mentions, he actually broke up with his girlfriend the week before… So finally, he gives up and tells Kashiwagi it’s time to leave....

Mielino Kashiwagi 「ミエリーノ 柏木」Ep 7 Synopsis

The episode starts off with Yukirin by the sea. Looks like she took Yasusu’s advice and wrote her name in the sand.  I wonder if she felt like things are much clearer now that she has done so.  Yasusu said it does!   They reviewed what happened in the previous episode! A weird love-rectangle that is! Hitomi vists Sano-san’s cafe and catch up on old times.   Yukirin and Kon-chan decides to leave them alone and sit outside the cafe. But, something steamy happened a short while later… Sano-san didn’t take off his glasses!   After the kissing was done, Hitomi tells Sano-san that his brother brought his girlfriend, Tanaka, to see her at the flower shop. The conversation didn’t go well and the brother, Matsuo, ends up stuck in the middle between Hitomi and Tanaka. Matsuo finally had enough and took a stand. He told his sister off!!! Matsuo: “It’s my life!” (Yes, you tell her!) After all that, Hitomi ask Sano-san if he’ll go out with her. Sano-san… Well, the answer is no. Yukirin and Kon-chan joins them again and make fun of their kiss only to be told of more shocking things! It seems Sano-san has agreed to meet up with Hitomi once a month to kiss instead of going out with each other. And that’s not all, it seems that Hitomi had always had a crush on Sano-san and that they did the causal kissing thing when they were young even when Sano-san had a girlfriend (who is Tanaka by the way). Yukirin’s reaction to this… Yukirin then proceeds to ask a very good question. “So your girlfriend never knew of your casual kissing relationship?” Of course she didn’t! But at that perfect moment, Tanaka walks into the cafe!   Tanaka: “I didn’t know about what?” This is what you call an AWKWARD moment!   At the end, all ends well. Hitomi asked Tanaka to take care of her brother! So yay, time to celebrate!   But wait, there’s one more revelation! The high school appears… Yukirin finally understands something. The person Kon-chan was holding hands with in her premonition was actually the high school girl! Naruhodo!   And so the talk guest is once again Lily Frank-san! They continue from the last chat and talk about limits and constraints in relationships. Frank-san asked if there were two guys, each with the same 3 conditions, Yukirin chooses Guy A, what was the reason she picked Guy A over Guy B? Yukirin thought about it for...

Mielino Kashiwagi 「ミエリーノ 柏木」Ep 6 Synopsis

Episode 6 finally ties a story into one of the main characters of show, Sano-san!   The high school girl seems to be a recurring character. She starts off the episode~ “Ne, big sis, do you know about the timing of kissing?” Yukirin pretends to ignore her~ “Ne, big sis, do you know about the timing of kissing?” Yukirin finally answers her… “Of course I know!” “It’s ahhh…you know…depends on many things…” (Oh Yukirin~)   This week’s story centers on, Sano-san’s exwife!! Seems she finally found someone she would like to marry again, that’s 38 year old bookstore worker.   The problem isn’t so much him, but his big sister. Seems his big sister has Brother Complex aka “Bura-con” What is Brother Complex you ask? Well, Yukirin googles it right away! Basically, according to wiki-answers… A Psychological condition where a girl desires the unrequited affection of her brother. Naruhodo!   and so the stalking begins!   The sister is a flower shop owner…   After they reconvene at the cafe, Yukirin asks a very good question… “Sano-san, when you kiss, what do you with your glasses? Take them off?”   And so, they interview couples that both wear glasses. Basically, they don’t take their glasses off when they kiss~ And well, when do they adult things, he takes them off first before she does.   But the french speaking couple, he always takes them off when they kiss~ Naruhodo!         (Yukirin, why that look?!?)   There’s a twist to the story! It seems Sano-san went to school with the sister, they’re acquaintances!” And suddenly… Doesn’t seem like Sano-san takes off his glasses when he kisses.   This week’s talk guest with Yukirin is Lily Franky… So Yasusu was telling him, when Yukirin is at a Sushi-ya, when there’s a full tray of sushi, instead of going for the uni-rolls, Yukirin will just constantly eat the cucumber ones. However, girls who will get happiness are the ones that goes for the uni nonstop. Guys are usually attracted to the girls that goes for the uni. But of course, guys aren’t dumb and they do realize that girls who go for the cucumber rolls are better, but that takes 20 years.   And so Yukirin’s reaction to that…. Yukirin: “Eeeeeee!?!”       (Yukirin, why are you so cute?)   According to Yasusu, Yukirin is 絶滅危惧種 type, meaning endangered species type. Mielino Kashiwagi 「ミエリーノ 柏木」Ep 5 Synopsis

The opening part of the episode was funny.  They were talking about how guys would always check out the girls, especially ones with big chests. Then the part when Kashiwagi caught Kon-chan checking her out. “You just checked me out didn’t you?” “No, I didn’t” but he was caught red handed via instant replay!   The main couple for this episode is Ai and Ryo.  Ai is a hand talento, not hand model as explained in the story. Parts model is separated into different categories, Eye talento, butt talento (しりタレ haha.), etc etc. Ryo is a salesrep for a surveying instrument maker. The kicker, they are actually engaged. So why does Ryo want to break it up?   Side Note: Yukirin wants to be a nose talento! 柏木は鼻タレになりたい! (笑)   This episode was different, we actually get to find out what happened to a previous story from Episode 3. Doesn’t seem like she will ever end up with anyone. lol   As well, the young school girl approaches Yukirin to find out her future but Yukirin refuses. She called Yukirin “BABA”. You do not call her BABA and not get a black reaction!   This episode ends well, I think it’s a good story. In the end, Ryo realizes Ai is willing to make the sacrifices. Future is looking good for them. I love Yukirin’s hair like this!   Next week’s ep will have lots of great guest stars! Can’t wait!!...
