Yukirin will be in a TV Asahi Fall 2014 drama called “Kurofuku Monogatari” (Black Suit Story)) which is based on the manga by Kurashina Ryo and Narita Manabu. Yukirin plays problem character, Miki and is a hostess at the cabaret club called Juliet. Sexy Zone’s Nakajima Kento is the male lead in the drama as Ogawa Akira and is someone who has failed to pass the medical entrance exam a few times. The female lead is Sasaki Nozomi who plays hostess Kyoko and is the No.1 at Juliet. Akira sees Kyoko and falls in love with her and starts to work at the club as a waiter (black suit). Yukirin will be a love triangle with these two. The drama is scheduled to start in October, every Friday at 11:15pm. Akira was instantly attracted to Kyoko and decided to work at the same place as her as a black suit. Miki seems to be attracted to Akira who is trying to find a place in the world after failing to pass the medical entrance exams a few times.  While the club has a Love Ban rule, Miki falls in love with Akira and finds herself in a love triangle with Akira and Kyoko.   Yukirin’s Comment on her role: Although it’s my first time playing a cabaret hostess, the world of cabaret hostess leaves an image of an elegance yet harsh world. Since it’s a role that is kinda hard to experience, I am excited that I will get to experience a glimpse of what that world is like. Exciting week with the announcement of Yukirin as a regular cast of the drama 『よろず占い処 陰陽屋へようこそ』 “Yorozu uranai dokoro onmyoya e yokoso”. The members have a great time and the fans have a great time. The 33rd single “Heart Electric” was also revealed with Kojima Haruna as center! The match between Yukirin and Mayuyu was one of the main focus of the preliminary rounds. They got slightly different treatment as they both got to say something prior to the match. Sadly, Yukirin lost in 5 seconds. lol Mayu’s cosplay was great, I loved Yukirin’s reaction to Mayu’s blown kiss.   9/19 Drama Crank In day September 19th was the first day of filming for the drama “Yorozu uranai dokoro onmyoya e youkoso”. The official twitter for the drama, https://twitter.com/onmyoyayoukoso, tweeted in the morning that they are filming on set, at a Izakaya (Japanese style bar). During the Janken Tournament, during the FujiTV broadcast, Yukirin was talking to Miichan and Sayanee and she mentioned she will start filming tomorrow so I figured she was likely part of that scene. Later in the day, Yukirin blogged about cranking in! Another member of the cast, Miyakawa Ichirota, also blogged about the crank in day. The drama announced another big name joining the cast, Ryotaro Sugi. It’s his first time appearing in a weekly modern drama in 33 years! He plays the owner of the izakaya called “狐火” (kitsunebi). Fall drama “Yorozu Uranaidokoro Onmyoya e Yokoso” (updated)

Yukirin will be part of the Fall Drama “Yorozu Uranaidokoro Onmyoya e Yokoso” which stars Nishikido Ryo. The drama is based on the novel by Shoko Amano. Start: Tuesday, October 8 Time: 10pm TV: FujiTV, KTV Drama official website: http://www.ktv.jp/onmyoya/index.html Yukirin plays Ayukawa Tamaki (鮎川珠希) and works part time as a miko (shrine maiden) at the Ouji Inari Jinja located in Ouji, Kita, Tokyo. She was addicted to visiting host clubs which is where Ryo as Abe Shoumei met her. Abe used to work at a host club as the #1 but now owns a fortune telling store. He doesn’t have fortune telling abilities but is able to solve people’s problems. High school student played by Hey!Say!Jump’s Chinen Yuri as Sawazaki Shunta works part time at Abe’s store. Kurashina Kana plays Tadano Michiko who is Sawazaki’s high school teacher and is the heroine in the story. Yukirin will also be wearing the miko outfit at the Janken Tournament as PR for the drama. 7/2 Yukirin AKB48 Wonda Spinoff Drama Filming

There was twitter chatter on July 2nd about Yukirin filming at a cafe in Ebisu, Shibuya. Yukirin’s mobame entry also mentioned that she has been filming since morning. Previews of the Wonda spinoff drama was out on July 3rd morning news but there were no clips of Yukirin’s part. Another news clip just showed an old interview of Yukirin when they were introducing the 6 AKB48 members who are part of the drama. It led people to believe that Yukirin’s part had just started filming the day before. You can view the news clips here about the drama here. 「ミエリーノ柏木Mielino Kashiwagi」 Bluray Boxset Review

I received my 「ミエリーノ柏木 Mielino Kashiwagi」 bluray boxset yesterday.  The boxset came with a cover sleeve. The the inside box and discs looked like this…   The boxset comes with a 40-page Special Photobook.   Similar to any AKB product, it also came with 5 bonus pictures! (no worries about not getting Yukirin this time, lol)   The boxset contains 5 discs in total, Disc 1 – 4 contains the episodes plus audio commentary. Disc 5 contains lots of extra videos such as Behind the Scenes video, Cast talks, NG Collection, etc etc. There’s a 1-hr behind the scene video which takes you from the beginning when the main cast got together in November 2012 for the first time for promotional pictures, Yukirin finding out the name of the drama, first day of filming, etc etc. It’s always interesting to see the filming process. Yukirin also did an interview for the making of video which was played throughout. The great thing about filming at a real café, the kitchen was preparing food during the filming. Hehe. Although it was also a lot of work for the staff as they have to change signs, and stuff around prior to filming each day. It was cool to see Yukirin recording for her radio show too. But I always think it’s kinda funny that they just keep talking to themselves when recording for solo radio shows.  Scheduling AKB members for filming must be hard, they have so many other jobs too.  And since they filmed at a real cafe, a lot of filming was done at night.  They put in quite of bit of effort for the Shortcake song filming, Kon-chan singing Shortcake wasn’t that bad  (lol) but Sano-san is a pretty good guitar player!  Yukirin’s acting really improved during the drama. I hope Yukirin will get more acting chances! There are also videos with the main 3 talking about their Top 5 Unforgettable moments either at filming or scenes in the drama which was really interesting. They actually filmed the talk at the Café only 2 months ago (as mentioned in Yukirin’s blog about filming something for Mielino).  Kon-chan’s #1 moment was when Yukirin rejected Asari when he asked her for her phone number (that was in episode 8). Full talk scenes between Yukirin with Akimoto Yasushi and Lily Franky which I haven’t watched yet. Collection of NGs which were more like the cast having fun. Looks like enough people bought this boxset as it made it to #10 on the 6/28...
