3/26-3/27 Yukirin at AKB48 Concerts News Roundup

In celebration of Takamina’s graduation, 3 concerts were held at Yokohama Stadium on March 26 and 27. The concert series was titled 「祝高橋みなみ卒業“148.5cmの見た夢”in 横浜スタジアム」 (Congratulations Takahashi Minami Graduation “The Dream of a 148.5cm” in Yokohama Stadium). Takamina only appeared at her actual graduation concert, which took place on the evening of March 27. First concert was AKB48 members only and the 2nd concert was a new format, an East vs West Competition. All the concerts were live streamed via Yahoo’s GYAO service.

The AKB48 only concert on March 26 had many audio and lighting problems, prompting many critical comments about the concert after it. Many fans voiced their opinions online. Those who viewed it via Gyao did not really see these problems. Yukirin obviously appeared quite a lot throughout the whole concert.

The East vs West competition concert took place in the afternoon on March 27. AKB48 & SKE48 were the East Team and NMB48 & HKT48 were the West Team. Since Yokohama Stadium is a baseball venue, the competition had many baseball elements. The opening starting member vtr was quite cool! Yukirin took part in AKB48 performances as well as a special unit performance with Mayu and Rion. The duet with Mayu was definitely a highlight!!! NGT48 also performed “Max Toki 315-go” for the first time and included Yukirin (which was a surprise since she was not part of the MV). At end, the East Team won!

Takamina’s graduation concert featured the return of the most popular graduates and 1st generation members. The amazing part of the concert was that Takamina took part in every single song!! Yukirin performed in a unit song with Takamina, Tomochin and Mayu.

There were not a lot of pictures from the first two concert but there were lots of pictures from Takamina’s graduation concert so I separated that into another album.
