1/16 Yukirin at AKB Only Request Hour 2016 Day 1 Roundup

On January 16th, 2016, the first day of AKB48 Only Request Hour 2016 took place at Tokyo Dome City Hall. Songs #100 to #61 were counted down between the afternoon and the evening concerts.

Since it was AKB48 members only, lots of girls got to perform and take part in MCs. Yukirin performed a total of 13 times, plus 4 encore songs and took part in 5 MCs.  Yukirin and Mayu appeared in the most songs after Day 1 with 13 each (not including encore).

During one of the afternoon MC with Mayu, Yui and Naana, they talked about Naana’s solo debut. She remarked on the higher end bento boxes that she got during the filming of the MV. Yukirin and Mayu then talked about Kashiwagi Team B and they always don’t have enough bento boxes for the members so they would have to go out and buy some food.

 

During one of the evening MC with Komiharu, Komiharu really wanted to find someone to be a pair with. She named various well known pairs like KojiYuu, MayuYukirin, Mogion and RyoNyaa. When Yukirin asked if there is someone she wanted to be with, Komiharu said there is, it’s a senpai who is sitting in the audience. She then went to Paruru to which Paruru said “Yui, save me” and runs away. And so finally, Yukirin agreed to be a pair with her for 1 year only. “KomiKashi” is born! Yukirin also mentioned that it’s quite a “Black” atmosphere with the two together on stage.
