8/1 – 8/2 Yukirin at AKB48 SSA Concerts News Roundup

On August 1st and 2nd, AKB48 held their own concerts at Saitama Super Arena titled “AKB48 Solo Summer Concert ~Kawaei-san No Koto ga Suki deshita”. The concert was AKB48 only although the senbatsu members of the sister groups also took part. One concert was held on August 1st and two concerts were held on August 2nd. The August 2nd concerts featured Kuramochi Asuka (Mocchi)’s graduation ceremony in the afternoon concert and Kawaei Rina (Ricchan)’s graduation ceremony in the evening. Yukirin did not appear that much during the evening show as she wasn’t involve with much of Ricchan’s ceremony.

As usual, Yukirin took part in an MC. The notable MC was of course the one with Sasshi and Miichan on August 2nd, evening show. That MC generated quite a buzz online as they alluded to Yukirin’s scandal which they have not done prior to. The audience laughed so it appears the crowd reaction was good. lol

Rough English translation of excerpts from that MC:

Miichan: “So Yukirin, what is your relationship with Kojima-san?”
Audience Laughed
Sasshi: “Green flash!”

Sasshi: “I was Internet News Appearance Ranking No.1!”
Yukirin: “That’s nice…I want to be No.1~ I worked hard for Sousenkyo but First place went to…”
Miichan: “It’s ok, Kashiwagi-san was Internet Search Ranking No.1 two months ago…”
Audience laughed (some people said it was big laughters from audience)
