Osawa-san Regarding French Kiss Disbandment (Eng Trans)

Sunday started with a shocking announcement. AKB48 Team B Kuramochi Asuka announced her graduation via Sanspo Sports newspaper.

Watanabe Entertainment’s Osawa Tsuyoshi took to 755 to explain some details regarding French Kiss with the announcement of Mocchi’s graduation.

With Mocchi’s graduation from AKB48 also spells the end of French Kiss.
The last trip of Kiss Tabi 2 with be a graduation trip for Mocchi, with all three girls traveling to France together.

French Kiss will be disbanding.

Up till now, with a group name “French Kiss” and still have not gone to France, as such, the three of them will travel to France as part of Kiss Tabi 2 and as Kuramochi’s graduation trip.

Kuramochi has also said in her blog, preparation for Kuramochi’s graduation started last year.To match with the graduation, Kiss Tabi 2 started in July.

So with Kuramochi’s graduation, French Kiss is moving towards its final chapter.

November 2012, Takajo decided to go to JKT48. In February 2013, Kashiwagi solo debuted, then Kuramochi also solo debuted in May 2013. You can see during these two years from other Units that an Album is released as a summation of an Unit. I think when it is time to create French Kiss’s summation then that will be when French Kiss album will happen.

In 2014, it was a relief that French Kiss was able to work as an unit. I am grateful for everyone in the French Kiss family for your support.
