Takamina’s Article on Yukirin (Eng Trans)

Takahashi Minami aka Takamina has a regular column on Weekly Playboy titled “AKB48 Column Bangaichi (AKB48 Column Without an Address) in which she writes about various topics. Generally, they’re things she wants to write about before she graduates. In the latest issue of April 20th, Takamina wrote about Yukirin. At the bottom of Takamina’s article, the new manager of NGT48, Imamura-san also wrote a bit regarding the two new members. Below is the translation of the article and the bonus bit from Imamura-san.

Note: As usual, I don’t do literal translations, I translate to make it work in English. This was done rather quickly and I didn’t review it that many times so there are errors, but I think we all get why Yukirin is amazing (LOL).

I am smiling so much right now dear Maddy, you have no idea! Let’s just say that sleep plans just went out the window. I am going to watch the Yamagata concert, then the 2014 RH Yukirin performances after this because all this sugar in my system needs to go! Yes it’s 5am but who cares?

First though I wish to thank you again for the translations. This was way more than I expected, those 2chan posts diluted the merverlousness of this article.

Not to sound foolish but I knew most of these things about Yukirin and yet hearing them from Takamina herself feels like those things just got a stamp of certification. To think that e an Souchan saw Yukirin like this. We have seen Senpais thank and praise Yukirin, seen Kouhais just about adore her seriously, she is one of her kind.

I am also interested in these other faces Souchan mentioned. Interesting to see that she is considered an Ace as well and not just Mayuyu. I guess now AKB is double Ace too. Too bad nothing of the sort has been backed up by Management.

I also guess we know now why she is always shafted to the back lines despite her popularity, not the ideal idol build with her height but she is working against fate to close that g, she is already changing the laws of nature too!

God, How more can I love her!?
