On Feb 24, 2014 at Tokyo Zepp DiverCity, a 48 Group Shuffle event was held. New teams were formed for each group including transfers and new concurrency positions. Prior to the actual announcements of shuffle, each Team performed a song. Umeda Team B performed Team B Oshi. As for the shuffle, Yukirin will remain a Team B member as well as a concurrent member of Team N. Mayu will now return to Team B. Mocchi was named Team B Captain and Shiichan was named Assistant Captain. Akicha remains as a Team B member as well. All of Watanabe Pro members are now in Team B. When they asked Yukirin for comment during the event about Team N’s concurrency, she said she would like to bring some cuteness to NMB. Sayanee remains as Captain of Team N. Yukirin was of course shocked when her name was announced. As she was commenting, she realized she would be the oldest in NMB and went wide-eye (that was until they announced Umechan would be Vice-Captain of BII). New Kuramochi Team B will look like this: Captain: Kuramochi Asuka (from Team K) Vice-Captain: Oya Shizuka Izuta Rina (from Team A) Uchiyama Natsuki (from Team 4) Umeta Ayano (from Team 4) Oshima Ryoka (from Team A) Kashiwagi Yuki (Concurrency with Team N) Takajo Aki (JKT48 concurrency cancelled) Takahashi Juri (from Team A) Takeuchi Miyu Tanabe Miku Watanabe Mayu (from Team A) Natori Wakana Nozawa Rena (from Team K, JKT48 concurrency cancelled) Hashimoto Hikari (from Team 4) Hirata Rina (from Team K) Fukuoka Seina (promoted from KKS) Owada Nana (promoted from KKS) Ogasawara Mayu (transfer from NMB48) Ikoma Rina (Concurrency with Nogizaka46) Tomonaga Mio (Concurrency with Team KIV) Yokoshima Aeri (Draft member) Kawamoto Saya (Draft member) Personally, it’s nice that Yukirin gets to experience NMB48 and Team N and I’m sure she welcomes it. BUT, does she really need the added work, plus the traveling to Osaka given her current schedule already? Her workload is more than sufficient as is. I know she can get some attention in NMB and bring something different to NMB but I’m mostly worried about her workload. Overall, I’m really excited about the changes in 48 group. I like change, I always think it’s needed to spice things up and change the dynamics a bit. Looking forward to the new groups/teams and hopefully new stages (but that’s probably asking too much.)
