Today was the full rehearsal for the 64th Kouhaku Uta Gassen. Members of AKB will be support for the performances of Hiroshi Itsuki and Godai Natsuko. For the performance with Godai Natsuko, Yukirin will be wearing the male Yukata and her partner is Kato Rena. For their own performance, AKB48 will not be forming an emoji like previous years. On December 22nd, Yukirin along with Ichikawa Miori, Iwata Karen, Oba Mina, Shimazaki Haruka and Sato Sumire visited a community centre in Wakabayashi, Sendai in the Miyagi Prefecture. On Dec 17, AKB48 held their 3rd AKB48 Kouhaku. Yukirin was on the Red Team this year, captained by Mayu. Yukirin performed SDN48’s “Yuuwaku no garter” with Watanabe Miyuki and Suda Akari. (I’m sure it was a really hot performance!) Yukirin also took part in the group songs of Koisuru Fortune Cookie and Heavy Rotation. It was announced on December 10th that Yukirin will be voicing all the announcements aboard the buses, streetcars, ferries that are used frequently by tourists within the Kagoshima prefecture. Her announcements will be used starting mid December until the end of March. Yukirin’s announcements will be available from departure to arrival on the Airport Limousine from the Kagoshima Airport to the City, Sightseeing Tram “Kagoden”, JR Kyushuu Sightseeing Train “Ibusuki no Tamatebako”, Sakurajima Ferry “Yorimichi Cruise”, etc etc. The announcements were recorded at the end of November. There are 13 versions, each about 1.5 to 2 minutes long of various tidbits about the transportation or the place. Yukirin also introduces herself and provides recommendations on food of the places. She was appointed Satsuma Ambassador of the Kagoshima Prefecture in July of last year. Source:...
