Yukirin in AKB48 33rd Single 「ハート・エレキ Heart Ereki」

The 33rd AKB48 Single is titled 「ハート・エレキ」 “Heart Electric” will be released on October 30, 2013. The concept is that all 16 girls are in a band called “G.Fingers”.  The PV has a drama portion and all the girls have English names.

Yukirin is called Catherine, plays the drum and is the band leader.

Rena as Sandy was the center of the group until it was changed to Kojiharu as Michelle. Sandy was not happy about it which caused lots of friction within the band.

The band is actually quite similar to Baby Blossom (Give Me Five). Yuko on Bass, Takamina on guitar, Mayu and Kojiharu as the keyboardists.

Yukirin is on the covers of Types A & 4.

   I too saw the similarities between this group and Baby Blossom (even the rock style outfits they were on the bus)

   Wondered if it might be tied in but no sure it is, which is a shame because I think that would be quite cool….

     Yukirin is the goto AKB drummer! and Yuko on bass too. Looking forward to the drama bits to see Leader in action. lol
