「ミエリーノ柏木Mielino Kashiwagi」 Bluray Boxset Review

I received my 「ミエリーノ柏木 Mielino Kashiwagi」 bluray boxset yesterday.  The boxset came with a cover sleeve. The the inside box and discs looked like this…   The boxset comes with a 40-page Special Photobook.   Similar to any AKB product, it also came with 5 bonus pictures! (no worries about not getting Yukirin this time, lol)   The boxset contains 5 discs in total, Disc 1 – 4 contains the episodes plus audio commentary. Disc 5 contains lots of extra videos such as Behind the Scenes video, Cast talks, NG Collection, etc etc. There’s a 1-hr behind the scene video which takes you from the beginning when the main cast got together in November 2012 for the first time for promotional pictures, Yukirin finding out the name of the drama, first day of filming, etc etc. It’s always interesting to see the filming process. Yukirin also did an interview for the making of video which was played throughout. The great thing about filming at a real café, the kitchen was preparing food during the filming. Hehe. Although it was also a lot of work for the staff as they have to change signs, and stuff around prior to filming each day. It was cool to see Yukirin recording for her radio show too. But I always think it’s kinda funny that they just keep talking to themselves when recording for solo radio shows.  Scheduling AKB members for filming must be hard, they have so many other jobs too.  And since they filmed at a real cafe, a lot of filming was done at night.  They put in quite of bit of effort for the Shortcake song filming, Kon-chan singing Shortcake wasn’t that bad  (lol) but Sano-san is a pretty good guitar player!  Yukirin’s acting really improved during the drama. I hope Yukirin will get more acting chances! There are also videos with the main 3 talking about their Top 5 Unforgettable moments either at filming or scenes in the drama which was really interesting. They actually filmed the talk at the Café only 2 months ago (as mentioned in Yukirin’s blog about filming something for Mielino).  Kon-chan’s #1 moment was when Yukirin rejected Asari when he asked her for her phone number (that was in episode 8). Full talk scenes between Yukirin with Akimoto Yasushi and Lily Franky which I haven’t watched yet. Collection of NGs which were more like the cast having fun. Looks like enough people bought this boxset as it made it to #10 on the 6/28...

6/27 – 6/28 Yukirin Mobame

Yukirin 2nd Solo Live Unofficial Album

You may have noticed that I don’t really have any download links on this blog since this blog is mainly for News and personal posts, etc.  Sharing radio clips is probably the extent of what will be available. So that being said, every Yukirin fan would probably want a Live Album of Yukirin’s concert, no?  I definitely would!!! 6/20 – 6/22 AKB48 32nd Single PV Filming in Fukuoka

The elected senbatsu members for the AKB48 32nd Single spent the last 3 days filming the PV in Fukuoka.  On 6/22, along with 3000 extras, filming took place outside the HKT Theatre in Hakata.  Many pictures, videos and sound clips were floating around the net from the filming.  The PV and the song seems really fun! AKB48 WONDA CM Spinoff Drama

Oshima Yuko, Watanabe Mayu, Kashiwagi Yuki, Shinoda Mariko, Kojima Haruna and Shimazaki Haruka will star in a 1-hr drama that is a spinoff from the WONDA CMs where they play OLs. The drama will feature 6 different short stories, about the happenings in an office, just like the CMs. SKE48’s Shibata Aya will also make an appearance. 6/19 Yukirin News Roundup

Yukirin had a busy day promoting the release of her 2nd Solo Live DVD & Bluray. Hiruobi A video clip of the concert and some behind the scenes were shown and Yukirin promoted her 2nd Solo Live DVD release. Of course, following some PR, she did the weather. It’s been awhile but Yukirin was also there for the afternoon segment so she took part in the quiz game as well.   Anta Dare Following Hiruobi, Yukirin headed to the AKB48 Cafe in Akihabara and joined in for short segment in Anta Dare. This is Yukirin’s 2nd time on Anta Dare (her first time was back in September 26, 2012 for the 1st-Year Anniversary of the AKB Cafe).  She played a game with Mocchi, Shimada, Mariyagi and Aamin, CinDy was the MC.  Yukirin would be allowed to promote her Concert DVD release if she wins 2 out of 3 rounds. She answered listener’s questions and also sang an acoustic version of Gingham Check. Many online news reported on her appearance on the radio show, it talked about Yukirin’s answer to one of the question which was “How long does it take for Yukirin to remember a fan?” Yukirin answered after two or three times at the same handshake event. It could be two times if that person was wearing something unique or a hat or something. As declared on Yukirin’s blog, today is Yukirin Day, also known as the release day of Yukirin’s 2nd Solo Live DVD and Bluray.
