Yukirin to star in mini Galileo Spinoff Drama (Updated)

Kashiwagi Yuki will be playing a policewoman, Ejima Chihiro, from the traffic department, in a spinoff series from Galileo called “Tagārin”. It’s a short mini drama each week, about 7 minutes long, scheduled for late night Saturdays. Yukirin’s partner is Haraichi’s Sawabe Yu who is part of the Galileo drama. However, Chihiro has another side. She is a member of a secret department that investigate cases not known to the public. Chihiro’s partner is Ohta Minoru (Sawabe Yu), together they will work towards solving the cases. Manabu Yukawa (Fukuyama Masaharu) and Kishitani Misa (Yoshitaka Yuriko) have encountered a case where they are having difficulty solving. One night, a high school jumped off the balcony from her dorm. The evidences from her dorm confirmed that it was a suicide. However, this case isn’t simply a suicide…. Chihiro will take part in solving the case as a member of the secret department that investigate cases that are unknown to public. She has been ordered by the Chief of the Kaizuka North Police Station that the investigation for this case has to be done in absolute secrecy. Chihiro wanted Ohta, a detective from the same station, to help re-investigate the case together. At first, Ohta refused, but when Chihiro mentioned “Let’s go interview the high school girls together”, his interest was heighten and agreed to participate in the highly confidential investigation.
